First Time Table Setting
Notice the skill it took to balance the plate
and fork on the edge of the far end of table.
I guess the napkin landed in the chair or floor?
Not sure where the fork is for the person sitting closest to the camera;
I guess they have to use their hands!
He probably set that spot for himself and hid the fork!
Dirty, Rotten Scoundrel
Noah is wearing Patti's father's hat and carrying a gun that Gary's Dad carved out of wood and painted just like a real "cowboy" pistol.
He also has on his favorite gold and brown striped, thermal shirt. He calls it his "hot shirt" because he wanted to wear it in the summer, and I told him it was long sleeved and thermal and too hot of a shirt for the summer. He continued to insist that it wasn't too hot to wear. Needless to say, you pick your battles, and I let him win that one...or did I?
I put Hawaiian print shorts and flame sandals on him!
He! He! He!
Too bad I didn't think to snap a picture of that ensemble!

Noah's 1st Trip to Papa Ken's & a Train Ride, Too! (9.18.09-9.20.09)
Welcome to Papa Ken & Ann's House!I realized as I was loading the pictures
that I didn't get one picture of Noah
with Papa Ken & Ann!
Sorry, guys, we'll do a photo shoot next time!
Noah posing by Ann's pretty flower bed!
~~~~~~~
We went for a ride on the Missionary Ridge Local.
It was located in a historic train yard.
Below are some of the older trains we saw!
Really old trains!
Our little engineers & Uncle Mike!
This picture might look more authentic
were it not for the contemporary vehicles
in the background and the little pink ghost!
Our tour guides: The 3 Stooges!!!
~~~~~~~~~
"ALL ABOARD!"
(Noah kept repeating this the whole train ride!)

Here we go...loading the passenger car.
"ALL ABOARD!"

Leah, Noah & Dawson were excited to get going!
"ALL ABOARD!"

Her we go! "ALL ABOARD!"

Here we are awaiting the excitement
of the turntable!
The engine of the train we road. It is loading the turntable
so we can watch it turn around
and take us back to the station!
Turning on the turntable!
Uncle Mike and Leah...
Aunt Stephanie & Dawson...
Papa Ken & Mama Les...It was a fun, family event!

Noah's First Trip to the Beach (9.5.09-9.12.09) @ Destin)
Along the way...
And, of course, once we arrived
everyone wanted to head straight to the beach...
he came to the beach with me."
"I am with you G-daddy; you've got all the snacks!"

"Cool! Mom, this really is fun!"

They were trying to shoot the photog...
Let's get to the beach, please!"
"Uhhhhh, is this all you do? Sit and look at it?"
Here we are at the overcrowded section of the beach! We quickly decided to move farther down the beach where there weren't so many umbrellas!
Noah's first steps into the water!
"WATCH OUT!"
"Wait for it; wait for it...
CRASH!"
~~~~~~~~~~
After our very first visit to the beach,
we had dinner at Aunt Faye's house.
Thanks for all the yummy food, Aunt Faye!we had dinner at Aunt Faye's house.
Noah had fun climbing her trees!
He also enjoyed sharing dessert with Aunt Debbie!
After such a fun, exciting day,
what's a boy to do!?!
~~~~~~~~~~~
We took Noah to a children's amusement park called The Track. He had a blast riding the rides even though he looks very solemn in the pictures!
Go-Karts and said,
"Daddy, we're going fast!"

They were trying to shoot the photog...Mommy and Daddy were too tall to ride!

Nap time on the beach!
Noah having a ball! (Ha! Ha! Ha!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
From the looks of the evidence captured in the following pictures,
I think Noah enjoyed the beach!
Gran took us to the local "ghetto" aquarium! :)
It was fun watching the sea lions and dolphins!
Liger totally enjoyed the show!
I found Nemo! Can you?
~~~~~~~~~
After the aquarium, we went to a restaurant
that had an alligator zoo in it.

Noah really did ask if we could pet
the alligators below us!

I said, "Sure, son, I'll even let you ride one!"
The beach was so cool!
A HUGE thanks to ALL who made this trip possible for our family!
We love you!
