Daniel's Trip to WY w/ Josh in September

Just Because...

"Wanna to go for a spin?"
"Dad? I think my arm is stuck. Can you help me out here?"
"Goin' to see Daddy in the shop! Bye, Mom!"

Some of Daddy's artwork!

A Soso Original: Havest Time

Here we have the lovely harvest display Soso (Noah's Great-Grandmother) set up in our front yard! He loves to point out where the "awies" are and then pluck a few from the stem. Thanks, Soso! This was the last times we saw the keys in Noah's hand.
We have a sneaky suspicion that he knows where they are, but he ain't talkin'!

One Busy Weekend - 10.18.08-10.19.08

The weekend started with a lawn mower and rubber boots!
Wait! Make that ONE rubber boot!
We had a snack and a nap in the car. Note the Sun Chip in his hand.
Then we stopped in Helen, GA for a walk and lunch.

As you can tell from the look on Noah's face, he was certainly not fooled into thinking we were anywhere near a REAL Alpine Village, "What is this place?" Mom.

What do GA Blue Ridge Mtns., a recreated Alpine Village, the Cherokee Indians, and Bavaria have in common: NOTHING...I mean...HELEN, GA.
Father and son watch crazy college guys play in freezing river water. FUN!?!
A family portrait in Helen. Noah still wasn't too sure of this place!!
"Hey, Horse! You mean to tell me you are forced to circle the streets pulling a carriage of people in this bizarre land of "Alpine beauty"? You need to visit me in Athens, poor, Horsey!"
At least Helen had really fun puddles!

If you'd like to visit Helen on your next vacation, please click here: http://www.helenga.org/
We traveled up and down the mtn. and found this funny farm...I mean corn maze.

(Noah had to change clothes half way through the day due to a pee-pee explosion!)
Noah stayed in the corn as much as on the path.
"They'll never find me here!"
"On the road again..."
"Corn Maze... Not for long!!! He! He! He!"
Sooooo kissable!
"Does this tractor make my butt look big?"
"Uhhh, mom, the pictures are great and all, but the tractor is rolling down the hill!"
Pumpkin bonanza at the corn maze.
"Noah, don't look at Mommy and maybe she'll stop taking pictures!"
Just a bunch of pumpkins!
On our way home Saturday afternoon!
"DUDE! We're back in the car again Sunday morning!"
Yeah, not interested in sitting on the HUMV with the green guys!

"Hmmmm....what does this red button do?"

This Much

Recently, we have taught Noah to spread his arms out wide when we ask, “How much do I love you?” So every time we ask him, he spreads out his arms, and we say, “THIS MUCH!” (He has said “love you,” a few times, but he is VERY selective on when he wants to say it!!!)

Anyway, this morning on the way to mom’s we were “moon hunting.” This is an activity we do in the car because he tells the moon “bye” when it “hides” behind a tree or some other tall object. This morning the moon was particularly full and obvious. This was thrilling to Noah, and he kept his eyes glued on it. At one point, we gained a fabulous view over which I couldn’t help but rejoice to the LORD. Then I said, “Noah, Jesus loves you!” Noah grinned really big in the dim light that the moon cast in the car and spread his arms wide. As the tears welled up in my eyes, I said, “THIS MUCH & A WHOLE LOT MORE!”

Shake it!

Noah went to the doctor for his 18 month check up, and had a rough time!
So, for a treat, Mommy got him a strawberry milkshake.
Look closely and you can see the tears still sitting in his eyes. Awwwww!

He weighed in at 28.6 lbs.,

and he is the average height of 27 month old...3 ft!

Story Time?

"Maybe if I pretend like I am looking at the girl books long enough...a girl will show up!"
"Just a little closer! Don't look at her...littel closer!"
"Oh, Hi! Didn't see you there. Is anyone sitting here? Lately, I've been reading up on Disney Princesses, too."
(Wink, wink at the camera!)

Just Plain Random

I'll be taking my plane today, Mumsy!
Yeah, it's a golf cart shell, & no, it ain't a decal.

More pictures to come... There must be something about this swing! I think I have 20 pictures of him in it...asleep!
The gardener is back. This time he is fully clothed!
Looks like a postcard!
Well, hey, I just needed and excuse to post this picture 'cause it's the best one I've seen of myself in a while! He! He! He!
Here, Soso, let me help ya with that!
Nap, please!
I'm outta here!
(Yeah, he climbed up there all by himself!!)
