One Fun Day!

We went to a car show to start off...
Noah was only interested in riding the tractor!
"Let's go back to the tractors!"
Next we went to Harris Shoals Park and played on the playground and in the river.
Daredevils!
Watch your step!
Of course, he had to touch it!
Thanks, mom & dad, for a fun day!

Daniel's Paint on a Bike!

I think these pictures speak for themselves!
God has certainly given my husband amazing talent.

Looking good...and hasn't even been washed and polished yet!!

Daniel not only did the custom graphics, but he also created the patina base with flat black and copper paints. I don't have pics of that process!
For those of you who know him, this is James Miller's bike.

Passover 2009

First, we made matza ball soup! Here Noah mixes the matza ball mix.
Matza is just a big cracker made without yeast.
It symbolizes the body of Jesus that was without sin.
Then we made haroset...Noah nearly ate all of it!
Haroset is a the blend of fruit, nuts & honey symbolizing the mortar used in Egypt before the first Passover. It's yummy!
Noah blowing out the candles right after I lit them!
Noah saying his "prayers" before the meal ...
Yes, I obviously had my eyes open to take the picture!
Noah digging into his matza ball soup.
Noah dipping his bitter herbs in salt water!
Chowing down!
Ok...this might need an explanation.

Noah got a new stuffed lamb to carry around for the first few days before Passover. To help him understand the practice, prophecy and meaning behind the sacrificial lamb, which represented Jesus, we have him select a name of one of his relatives or friends in which to give the lamb on the night of Passover.

And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance
to thee and to thy sons forever.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land
which the LORD will give you, according as he hath
promised, that ye shall keep this service.
And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say
unto you, What mean ye by this service?
That ye shall say, It [is] the sacrifice of the LORD'S
passover, who passed over the houses of the children of
Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians,
and delivered our houses.
And the people bowed the head and worshipped.(Exodus 12:24-27)

...For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast...(1 Corinthians 5:27b-28a)

Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
(John 1:29)

In this picture, he is drawing a name.

And the winner is...
ARIE, Noah's cousin in OR!
Noah kisses the lamb goodbye!
Noah stuffs the lamb in a box to ship out to Arie! Bye, bye, lamb! Happy Passsover!
We also made matza brownies. Noah got to use his hammers to crush the matza!
The food processor is loud when it chops nuts. Noah loved opperating it for that reason!
VOILA!
Noah eating matza and soup!
We got Noah a Passover bucket with gardening supplies and such.
Here he is watering his lettuce and snap dragons!
